A flashback

Michal's 9th birthday party. That was the first time I made a cake like this. It was a simple chocolate cake, which is Michal's favourite, but I've turned the sugar paste into a jungle. I was very happy with the results. Well done me!

Because Michal's birthday is in October, this year we've decided to have it as an earlier Halloween Party. No cake this time, just cupcakes.

And there is a Nemo cake I made for my friend's little boy. It was his first birthday.
I really enjoyed that.

Another DIY project

Pinterest inspired project. That website is amazing, gives you so many ideas. And that's what I've decided on...hand prints. Great fun for the kids and ourselves. Only our dog wasn't interested in it.
And that's Aaron

One more project - bedroom wall with black and white flowers images

The Kardashian Kollection

I went to Dorothy Perkins store to check the Kollection. It's OK. Not the best quality but nicely designed. Love them or hate them the Kardashian sisters get what they want. Many young girls imitate their style. I like them. Even wanted to buy a jacket from their collection but it has been sold out in a few days.

Kardashian lookalike models showed of the Kollection which features over a hundred pieces.

Alex's Birthday Party

Last July we were celebrating Alex's 6th birthday. Alex invited all the kids from his class plus some friends and family. It was the first time for me to organise such a big party.
Party theme - Elmo and The Cookie Monster. Believe me it's not an easy theme to do in the UK.
All the decorations and food were made by us. Alex and his friends loved it!

The Family Tree

For quite a long time I wanted to have a family tree painted. But I wanted it to be special. I've found some ideas on pinterest (next to polyvore my other addiction). In August I went on holiday with my boys for a couple of weeks. After we came back there was a surprise waiting for me...a big, gorgeous family tree painted on our bedroom wall. It was a gift from my lovely husband for our wedding anniversary (11years together). Now all I had to do was to find pictures and photo frames. I went for black because the bedroom is yellow and black. The oldest photos I could find were of our great-grandmothers. And it's so cute cause it's them and us as babies.
In my opinion it looks really good. I love it. You can catch me just standing there staring at it.

I hope you like it.
